Joining the MPavilion program in March is PlaceLab’s Research Project ‘Living Together’ in the form of a panel discussion moderated by academic researcher Rebecca Roke.
Over the last ten years, collective housing, through deliberative development, has emerged in Melbourne as an alternative model to speculative, for-profit housing. This model promises better sustainability, affordability, and social connections, but still, many discussions addressing this tend to prioritise the perspectives of architects and developers. This event will be an opportunity to learn about the lived experience of collective housing residents, where you will hear what it is really like to share amenities and live together better in the context of growing population density, and more specifically within the Brunswick neighbourhood.
We would love for you to join us at this free event on Saturday 4 March 2023 from 11am-12:30pm, click here to see our event in MPavilion program.
