Brunswick, we’re officially your new neighbours!
We launched RMIT PlaceLab Brunswick on Thursday 29th September, joined by colleagues, friends and neighbours to celebrate in our research studio. The official proceedings began with an introduction by Kiri Delly and Brock Hogan, co-leads of RMIT PlaceLab, before Deputy Mayor, Cr Lambros Tapinos (Merri-bek City Council) and Tom Bentley, Executive Director of Policy, Strategy & Impact (RMIT University) provided opening remarks and expertly cut the ribbon to start the party.
We’d like to give a big thanks and shout out to Liam McGorry for providing the perfect soundtrack, Taco Truck for the delicious tacos, and ReWine for the refreshments.
Alongside our official launch party, we created our first Brunswick PlaceLab Report to officially introduce ourselves and the research projects to the neighbourhood. We invite you to watch the video below and drop-in to our research studio soon.
