Hello all,
If you have wandered past the PlaceLab Melbourne Studio recently, you might have noticed some changes. We’re no longer there!
Following the successful delivery of our 2023 projects and completion of the VHESIF support, our PlaceLab Research Studio on Cardigan Street in Carlton will now be transformed into a student space as part of our College of Vocational Education. Our site in Brunswick will remain.
While the team wraps up reporting on the current project cycle, and we take a moment to reflect and celebrate everything we have achieved, we are also looking forward to developing and ‘reshaping’ our next moves for the initiative.
RMIT PlaceLab has lots of potential, and we look forward to working with you all to imagine how we can foster impactful and engaging activities that continue to bring community ideas and experiences together with RMIT, alongside our placemaking partners.
We are always open to collaborative partnerships that create solutions for our shared urban challenges, so if you have a project, activation, idea or an event, please reach out! We would love to hear from you.
